Wrox/Active Path Editors

In February of 1999, a few of the editors from Wrox Press attended one of the concerts of the Saginaw Valley State University Choir (of which Marnie is a member) at Shrewsbury Cathedral in Shrewsbury, England. Following the concert, they went back to the pub with us at the Lion Hotel. When the pub closed, we took the conversations up to the Dickens Suite, which was the room Marnie and I had those few days. The following photos are of the quite loverly Kate Hall with her sidekicks for the evening, Gordon Rogers and Andy Corsham. There is also video of the evening for those who visit us. The tape is where you can hear Kate plainly say "My goal is to get my name in every VB book Wrox publishes."

Dave Sussman

We thought those of us who know any of the three of us would like to see the following photos of my wife Marnie and I individually with Wrox Press Access VBA author and ZDU course developer Dave Sussman. These were taken near the Royal National Hotel in London, England, in March of 1999. Dave had taken the train from his house about 45 miles north of London the previous morning and spent the day and evening with us. During that morning he attended one of the concerts of the Saginaw Valley State University Choir (of which Marnie is a member) at the nearby St. Pancras Church. He then gave us an extensive walking tour of London until nightfall, at which time the three of us went to see Alarms and Excursions at the Gielgud Theatre. He then also stayed the night in the Royal National Hotel so we could all have breakfast together before he left the morning these photos were taken.

Can you tell which one of us he'd decided he liked better? ;-)

Pamela Grimm

The Topeka Capital-Journal did a business profile on one of my favorite pals, Access wunderkind Pamela Grimm. The article was published on April 5, 2000, and the photo accompanying the article looks like this:
