Food Fairs & Festivals
We are continually working on our schedule of Michigan Food Fairs & Festivals in an effort to develop the most complete listing of food fairs and events available. Information is also included on where to find listings for county and state fairs, wine and beer events, and many other happenings around the state.
Dining
Michigan is home to some of the best restaurants and dining experiences in the Midwest. From Greek restaurants in the Detroit area, to chicken in Frankenmuth, to fine dining on the water in Traverse City, to countless family-owned diners in small towns throughout the state, Michigan has it all.
Destinations
Food destinations are becoming more-and-more popular. Many people are now planning food-oriented day trips and vacations, taking in festivals and events, small food specialty shops, and the makers of fine food products and wares. Michigan food destinations are some of the most unique of their kind.
Food Products
Michigan is home to a host of food product manufacturers, some national and well-known, others being more local and having entire cultures around them. There are renowned fudge shops, cereals, baby foods, old-fashioned sausage makers, spice mills, and makers of many other fine food products.
Food-Related Associations
Michigan's food-related associations run the gamut from cherries to asparagus, celery, bison, fudge and many other groups, including the Michigan Bean Commission and the Senate Bean Soup recipe, served in the US Senate dining room since the 1920s.
