Yes, a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jaccard.com\/Home-Product-WTender-48B.asp?group=R\">Jaccard<\/a> <em>is<\/em> a sharp object. And no, my thumb is not &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Even though we know we&#8217;re still in need of lighting and a decent shotgun microphone, this was probably my favorite part of the taping that day. (I wrote &#8220;taping&#8221; even though no tape is involved &#8230; the camera has a 60G hard drive that holds up to 5 hours of video.) <em>Beef Wellington<\/em> is one of those standards that some people love while others despise. There&#8217;s a beautiful recipe in the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qe2.org.uk\/images\/books\/qe2_cookbook.jpg\">QE2 cookbook<\/a>, with the photo of their version\u00a0being reproduced in the bottom left\u00a0on the front cover. And in his book <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Kitchen-Confidential-Updated-Adventures-Underbelly\/dp\/0060899220\">Kitchen Confidential<\/a>, Bourdain talks about making lengthy Wellingtons for a large amount of people at a club in New York City in a short amount of time,\u00a0and slicing individual servings.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll just bet Bourdain never punctured his thumb with a Jaccard though.
